Disney
For
Adults
(We Have Fun Too)
|
There is a lot
of fun and magic at Disney World for kids, families AND adults,
and my focus here will be on the entertainment value for adults.
I'm more into the
restaurants,
shows, golfing, the awesome resorts to stay at, etc... and
yeah, did I mention the restaurants?
:-)
Don't get me wrong...
I do like the thrill rides, especially Tower of Terror, but
if I'm there for a week and don't get on one ride, it won't
bother me a bit. There is plenty to experience at Disney World
(and everywhere else they're associated with), and I'm perfectly
comfortable doing other things.
My first visit
to Disney World was with Cindy,
my daughter Luvenia, and my granddaughter Fernan, in June
of 2008. Cindy
was the expert (with at least seven consecutive years under
her belt), and so she was our "guide" for the week.
She set up everything we were going to do at Disney World,
including where we ate, what theme parks we went to (and when),
and the rides and attractions we experienced.
Cindy
did an absolutely awesome job in planning our experience at
Disney World, and although she planned our week with mostly
my granddaughter Fernan in mind, I saw a lot of potential
for this "Disney thing" being really enjoyable for
adults...
... And that was
the beginning of me becoming a "bonified" Disney-ite,
or as Cindy likes to say - "he's been Disneyfied!"
Cindy
and I went back that December, and early in 2009, became Disney
Vacation Club members.
