The Whispering
Canyon Cafe... What can I say... It's one of the most fun
restaurants in Disney World that doesn't have the Disney characters.
It is definitey for the entire family.
Located in the
Wilderness Lodge Resort, just off the main lobby, this restaurant
stays full, and I highly recommend that you make reservations.
The staff there
gets really serious about having fun.
Our
server had a good time at our expense, and we all had
a great time because of it. She spent time 'adorning'
Fernan, my granddaughter's hair with straws, while we
all ate. When she was done, Fernan looked like the Statue
of Liberty. |

I
had to stand up with the rest of guys in the restaurant
that were in the 30-50 year old range, so that we could
entertain the rest of the patrons with our 'forced' rendition
of "I'm a Little Tea Pot"... Nice, huh?... Yeah,
but it was all in good fun. |
The
food was pretty good. Nothing great. Nice portions. Don't
ask for large drinks unless you want REALLY large drinks...
Asking for catsup will get you all the catsup in the restaurant,
and you're stuck with it on your table until some other
'unfortunate soul' asks for it. |

Cindy
gave the Whispering Canyon Cafe a 4-star rating, while I had
to give it a 5-star rating because of all the fun we had.
